Syringa Elementary thanked Sgt. Daniels of the Pocatello Police Department. Sgt. Daniels is the SRO (student resource officer) for the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25. He has been an officer for 26 1/2 years. Sgt. Daniel shared that if he could change anything about the world, it would be, "to stop all the drugs." He also shared that his favorite thing about his job is, "getting to hang with all the kids."

Sgt. Daniels works very hard to keep Syringa learners and faculty safe. He is very helpful in difficult situations. He was given a gift card to Amazing Glaze donuts.

We were thankful to have Sargeant Ockerman and Specialist Ockerman visit the Kindergarten for Veteran's Day. The brother and sister recently returned from a deployment and shared with us their experiences. The Kindergarteners were very excited and had so many questions, especially about tanks!
